How to Integrate Sleeknote with OpenCart

Emel DalabasmazUpdated September 6, 20262 min read

Sleeknote still documents OpenCart. One tracking code, in the theme header.

Source: Sleeknote help: OpenCart, checked September 6, 2026. Paste into header.twig under common, before </head>.

Where is the tracking code?

Dashboard → Tracking Code → Copy. Implement your tracking code.

How do I add it in OpenCart?

  1. OpenCart admin → DesignTheme Editor.

  2. Open commonheader.twig.

  3. Paste the Sleeknote snippet before </head>.

  4. Save. Set the changes live.

Verify the published storefront

Check What to inspect
Active theme The edited template belongs to the storefront you intend to change
Script loading The published page loads the intended account snippet
Duplicate installation The snippet is not also inserted through another tool
Page coverage Product and category pages include the installation where needed
Campaign visibility The active campaign’s domain and conditions match the test
Mobile interaction The campaign opens, closes and submits without obscuring controls

These are editorial acceptance checks, not results from an OpenCart account test. Save the original template before editing and record the installation location for whoever maintains the store.

If the saved change is absent from the live page, first confirm the active storefront and template. Review the site’s publishing and cache process before adding another copy of the snippet. If the script loads but the campaign remains hidden, investigate campaign conditions separately from installation.

Confirm the receiving workflow

For a signup campaign, submit a controlled test and inspect its destination. A visible popup confirms only part of the setup; it does not prove the expected fields or follow-up arrived.

Repeat the visibility check after a theme change. Keep the target page and test outcome in the handoff so another maintainer can repeat it. If your OpenCart version does not expose the documented editor, have the store maintainer identify the supported template-editing route rather than guessing a file path.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Which template does Sleeknote document for the OpenCart installation?

Sleeknote documents common/header.twig in the Theme Editor, with the tracking code placed before the closing head tag. Save and publish the change, then check the live storefront.
