How to Integrate Sleeknote with WordPress

Sleeknote still documents WordPress as a CMS install. One tracking code per account. Paste it in the site header. Campaigns will not show until that snippet is there.

There is no first-party "Sleeknote for WordPress" plugin in that article. The vendor path is Theme Editor, or a generic head-code plugin.

Where is the tracking code?

Dashboard → Tracking Code tab → Copy. Same snippet on every domain. Implement your tracking code.

How does Sleeknote say to add it?

  1. Log in to WordPress.
  2. AppearanceTheme Editor.
  3. Open header.php.
  4. Paste the snippet before </head>. Update File.

Hosted WordPress.com may block Theme Editor. Use a plugin or Google Tag Manager instead.

Should I really edit header.php?

Only on a child theme, or you will lose the snippet on the next parent-theme update. Sleeknote's own article also points at a head/footer plugin such as AddFunc Head & Footer Code. That is the safer default.

Google Tag Manager works too. Sleeknote documents GTM as a first-class install.

WooCommerce does not need a separate snippet. Header is enough, as long as it loads on shop pages.
