Add the video
- Open the popup in the builder and select Blocks.
- Drag a video block onto the popup.
- Paste the page URL where the video is hosted. The guide instructs against using a share link or embed code.
- Adjust the layout and save your campaign changes.
For Shorts, the guide describes automatic block sizing and an optional borderless layout: fit the block to the popup width and remove spacing in Design. Check the close control remains clear after adjusting the layout.
Decide whether to enable autoplay
Wisepops documents autoplay on desktop with sound off. Do not make audio essential to understanding the offer. Keep a short text summary and a clear next action alongside the video when they help visitors decide what to do.

First compare the URL with the documented page-URL format and supported host list. Open the video as a visitor, then inspect any player error. If it works on one device only, record the browser, device and action that differed.
If the popup is too tall, adjust the layout while preserving the close control and primary action. If autoplay does not start, retain an obvious manual play option and verify the browser’s behavior. The documentation does not promise mobile autoplay or identical behavior in every browser.
