In the Wisepops builder, open the popup, drag a video block from Blocks, and paste the page URL of the video. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and Dailymotion work. Share links and embed codes do not. Source: Wisepops help, 23 Oct 2024.

How do you add a video block?

  1. Open the campaign in the Wisepops builder.
  2. Select Blocks in the left menu.
  3. Drag the video block onto the popup.
choosing Blocks and video to add a video to Wisepops dashboard
  1. Paste the URL of the page where the video is listed. Not the share URL. Not the iframe embed code.
  2. Save.

Supported hosts, per the help article: YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Dailymotion. YouTube Shorts and TikTok URLs are first-class. The block resizes itself for vertical video. For a borderless Short, stretch the block to the popup width and remove spacing in Design, then add corners, shadow or a close icon as you would on any other campaign.

Can the video autoplay?

Yes, on desktop, with sound off. Toggle Autoplay in the video block settings. Mobile autoplay is not promised in the docs.

Another host? The help article says to ask support to add it. Unverified whether they will.
