How to Integrate Wisepops with Magento

Official documentation checked September 6, 2026. Confirm extension compatibility with your Magento version and follow your store’s deployment process. The command below is part of the vendor’s installation flow, not a complete deployment procedure for every store.

How do you install the Magento 2 extension?

1. Open the Magento Marketplace listing. Pick your version → Add to cart → confirm the order → Install.
2. Create Adobe Commerce access keys if you don't have them.
3. On the server:

composer require wise/connect

4. Magento admin → Stores → Settings → Configuration.
5. Left menu → Wisepops → Wisepops Connect.
6. Enable the extension.
7. Paste the website hash: the bold 10-character string in your Wisepops setup code. The form also has a link that fills it for you.
8. Save Config.
9. If Magento warns about cache: Cache Management, tick every Invalidated row, Refresh, Submit.

Verify the storefront

The checks below are editorial recommendations, not a test performed on your store.

Test as a visitor as well as in your normal admin session. Record the store view, page and campaign used so differences can be reproduced. A saved configuration does not prove all storefront templates behave identically.

Troubleshoot the installation

If the code is absent, check extension activation, the website hash and any cache warning. If the code loads but no popup appears, inspect campaign status and eligibility before changing the installation. Preserve the actual browser error when asking support for help.

If your site uses a consent manager, verify the intended loading behavior with that specific implementation. The vendor notes that this Magento integration has no standard marketing-consent check and suggests considering another installation method when loading must wait for consent. Do not disable the consent mechanism merely to make a test pass.

Set up goal tracking separately when needed. Installation alone does not establish that orders or revenue are measured correctly. Keep the deployed version, configuration and verification results in the handoff record.
