How to Conduct A/B Test on Adoric?
If the "Duplicate Variation" control in the screenshot below is missing, you are on the current board flow, not the 2023 editor chrome. Keep the image; the click path in help is what to follow.
How do you set up the test?
1. Log in to Adoric. Open the campaign you want to test, then leave the editor so you are on the campaigns board. Help's first sentence is "Exit the campaign."
2. Select the campaign. Use the actions bar → create an A/B test.
The 2023 UI called this "Duplicate Variation" inside the editor:

3. Change one thing on the new variant. Button colour, headline, offer, not all three. If you change everything you will not know what moved the number.
4. Split the traffic. Help: you can set the % per variation and add a control group (the original page, no campaign).
5. Publish. Do not keep editing live variants unless you are starting a new test.
6. Read results on Analytics. The web product meters pageviews, not impressions. A test can burn pageviews on people who never saw a popup. That is a pricing problem, not a statistics problem.
What does Adoric lock in?
Adoric's own warning: once a user has been exposed to a version, they always see that version. Good for cleanliness. Bad if you published a broken variant at 50% and wanted to yank it for returning visitors. Pause the test instead of hoping the cookie forgets.
What can you not do?
- Run this on web Basic ($100/mo). The live pricing table lists A/B testing under Essentials.
- Treat the 2023 "weight switch next to each campaign" copy as the current label. Help now says split % on the board, plus control group.
- Expect a stats engine that will call a winner for you. Help does not describe sequential testing or a significance calculator. You look at the numbers.
