How to connect an Adoric form to a webhook
How do you wire it?
1. In Adoric, open the form campaign. Click the form, not the overlay.
2. Left sidebar → Integrations → Webhooks.
3. Fill what help asks for:
- Endpoint. HTTPS URL that accepts the lead.
- Enctype. Application post, multiple post, POST + JSON, or GET. Match the receiving API documentation.
- Action. Confirm the expected value with the receiver and the current Adoric form; the guide does not define this field further.
- Authorization header (optional). Key + value. Use the receiver’s documented authentication requirements.
4. Configure fields. Map email, name, phone, hidden fields, to the names the other system expects. Inspect the actual receiver response and created record; a mismatch does not have one universal failure behavior.
5. Submit a test lead from a preview or a URL-parameter test. Confirm it in the other tool before you publish.
Verify receipt, parsing and contact creation
| Checkpoint | Evidence to inspect |
|---|---|
| Request receipt | The receiver recorded the controlled submission |
| Authentication | The receiver accepted the configured credentials |
| Parsing | Field values were read in the intended format |
| Destination action | The intended contact or event was created |
| Follow-up | The destination workflow accepted the resulting record |
Use a controlled contact and record the time and response. If a setup succeeds but a live campaign does not deliver, check the campaign's form integration assignment before changing the receiver. Keep endpoint secrets and authorization values out of screenshots and support notes.
Resolve delivery guarantees before relying on them
The short vendor article does not document retries, signatures, request logs or dual-destination storage. That does not prove those features are absent, nor does it prove a failed request is permanently lost. Confirm how failures are detected and recovered with Adoric and the receiver's owner.
Do not assume Adoric Leads remains a backup when the webhook is selected. Verify the actual storage behavior and agree how missing or duplicate records will be reconciled. These are editorial operational checks; no live endpoint test was performed for this guide. The vendor source was checked September 6, 2026.
For simpler destination-specific setup, see HubSpot and Constant Contact.
Questions before you decide
Frequently asked questions
What do I need from the receiving platform for an Adoric webhook?
The guide asks for API documentation, endpoint, encoding, action, optional authorization header and field configuration. Confirm the receiver’s expected values rather than guessing from another integration.
Does the Adoric webhook guide specify retries after failure?
No retry policy is described in the short setup article. Confirm failure detection and recovery before relying on delivery guarantees; missing documentation does not establish that a lead is permanently lost.
