How to Integrate Adoric with WordPress

Capsule. Do not search wp-admin → Plugins for "Adoric." A wordpress.org search for adoric returned zero plugins on 23 August 2026. Current vendor install docs (Install Adoric, updated 9 July 2026) list Manual install and Google Tag Manager only, plus the Shopify app. Our 2023 steps that said "install the Adoric plugin" are stale. The screenshot below is still useful: it is the snippet screen.

How do you install Adoric on WordPress now?

1. Add the domain in Adoric under Connected sites. Full domain steps.

2. Copy the snippet: top bar → Settings → Install Adoric, or Connected sites → Show code.

3. Pick one path.

Theme header (manual). Appearance → Theme File Editor → header.php (or your child theme's equivalent). Paste the snippet before </head>. A plugin that injects head scripts (Insert Headers and Footers, or your consent tool's "custom scripts" slot) is safer than editing a parent theme you will overwrite.

Google Tag Manager. Add a Custom HTML tag with the snippet, trigger = All Pages. Adoric's help says the code must run on all pages. A thank-you-only trigger will under-count pageviews and hide campaigns.

4. Load the live site, disable the cache plugin once, confirm Connected sites shows the domain as active.

5. Then build the campaign. Lead-gen, templates.

WooCommerce is still "a WordPress site with the snippet." There is no separate Woo install article in Adoric's 2026 help index. Product recs on non-Shopify sites need a catalog feed; read product recommendations before you assume the Shopify carousel exists here.

If a 2021 Adoric blog post still tells you to "connect the plugin with your account ID," ignore it. The live install article does not mention an account ID field in wp-admin.

Web plans start at $100/mo. If you came to WordPress for a cheap popup plugin, read Adoric alternatives before you paste anything. OptinMonster still has a real wordpress.org plugin.
