How to Reset Password on Hello Bar Account?
Emel DalabasmazHello Bar password reset depends on how the account was created. The help article I forgot my password, how can I reset it? (modified 6 July 2022) was checked on 5 September 2026; these are documented instructions, not a live account-recovery test.
How do you reset a password you actually set?
- Open app.hellobar.com/users/password/new. The article also describes a Forgot your password? link on the sign-in page.
- Enter the email on the account and submit.
- Open the reset email. Check spam if it is not in the inbox.
- Follow the link and set a new password.
Sign-in URL in that article: dashboard.hellobar.com/users/sign_in. Signup still lives on app.hellobar.com. Both hosts are in current Hello Bar docs.
What if you signed up with Google?
Hello Bar did not store a password. Support will not reset one. On the sign-in page, click Login With Google and use that Google account. Use the same sign-in method and Google account that created the Hello Bar account.

If access still fails

Avoid creating another account just to resolve access to an existing site's campaigns. First establish which identity owns or has access to that site.
Prepare a useful support request
Include the affected account address, the sign-in method, the approximate attempt time and the visible error. Explain whether the failure happened before receiving an email, while opening its link, or after signing in. Do not include your password or the reset link itself.
After access is restored, confirm the intended site and campaigns are available. Keep account recovery separate from changing subscription or campaign settings; recovering access does not itself require those changes.

- Whether Hello Bar added other SSO options (Apple, Microsoft) after 2022. The article only mentions Google.
- How long the reset link stays valid.
