How to Integrate OptiMonk with Ontraport
Ontraport still connects with an App ID and API key, not OAuth. OptiMonk's 3 January 2026 article is live, so the integration has not been dropped. You paste both values on the campaign, then map fields.
A form fill on that OptiMonk campaign then lands in the Ontraport contact list, with the tag you picked.
Get the Ontraport keys
- Log in to Ontraport.
- Click the account name, top right → Administration.
- Under INTEGRATIONS, open ONTRAPORT API INSTRUCTIONS AND KEY MANAGER.

- If you have no key, New API Key. Grant Add Contacts.
- Copy APP ID and API KEY.
Paste them in OptiMonk
- Log in to OptiMonk. Campaigns → open the campaign → Edit settings.

- Add new integration → Ontraport.

- Paste App ID and API key.
- Map OptiMonk inputs to Ontraport field identifiers. Set those identifiers in Ontraport first if they do not exist.
- Optional: pick a tag. In Ontraport, Contacts → Settings → Manage Tags → New Tag.
- Done, then Next.
Test with a real form fill on the live campaign. If the contact is missing, the API key is missing Add Contacts, or the field identifiers do not match.
Klaviyo is OAuth; Ontraport is still keys. Do not mix those setups. Other ESPs: OptiMonk integrations.
