How to Create a Popup with OptinMonster & WPForms

The form does not render in the builder. That is expected. You only see it on the site.
Add the form
1. Create and publish a form in WPForms.
2. In OptinMonster, open Publish and assign the WordPress site to the campaign. If you skip this, the WPForms block stays greyed out.
3. In Design, drag a WPForms block onto the canvas.
4. In the sidebar, pick the published form. Only forms on the connected site appear. If the list is empty, use Add Shortcode Manually and paste the WPForms shortcode.
5. Save. Preview on the site, not in the canvas.
Check submission behavior
Conversion tracking on this block cannot be turned off. After submit, OptinMonster shows the campaign Success view.
WPForms reloads the page on submit by default, which can close the popup. In WPForms: Settings → General → Advanced → Enable AJAX form submission, then save. That keeps the Success view on screen.
Style the form in WPForms, or with CSS. The OptinMonster block's Advanced tab only covers the wrapper.
Test on the connected website

These are editorial acceptance checks, not results from a customer account. Test the form through the actual campaign: a successful standalone form test does not verify its popup layout or success experience.
Keep the form ID, connected site and campaign name in the handoff. If the wrong form appears, compare those three values before changing styling. If the right form appears but submission fails, reproduce the issue with a controlled test and inspect the receiving workflow separately from the popup presentation.
Keep the success message accurate
Describe the next step that you have verified, such as checking an inbox or waiting for a response. Do not promise delivery based only on the popup changing views. Repeat the valid and invalid submission checks after changing the form, AJAX setting or destination workflow.
