How to Integrate OptinMonster with Brevo (Sendinblue)
Sendinblue rebranded to Brevo. In OptinMonster the Integrations card is labelled Brevo. Official page: How to Connect OptinMonster with Brevo. The connector is on every plan. Attach MonsterLeads as a backup.
Connect the campaign
1. Create a Brevo API key (Brevo's API-key docs).
2. In the campaign builder, open Integrations, search for Brevo.
3. Enter an internal account name and the API key. Click Connect to Brevo.
4. Under Provider Lists, pick the Brevo list. Required.
5. Save.
Verify attributes and delivery
Brevo calls custom fields Contact Attributes. OptinMonster documents automatic creation as text attributes and reserves certain names; consult the mapping section before reusing a field.
| Check | Evidence to inspect |
|---|---|
| Correct destination | Test contact appears in the intended list |
| Field mapping | Each submitted value reaches the expected attribute |
| Attribute format | Downstream filters work with the stored value |
| Follow-up | The intended Brevo automation runs for the test contact |
| Existing contact | A separate repeat-submission test has the desired outcome |
Use a controlled new address for the initial test. The table is an editorial acceptance checklist, not a report of product-account testing. Record the campaign and list alongside the result so another person can investigate a missing value without guessing which connection was used.
Resolve documentation limits before promising a coupon
The vendor lists reserved coupon attributes but separately says spin-a-wheel coupon delivery to Brevo is unsupported. Reserved field names alone do not establish a working delivery feature. Confirm the actual supported route with support and a test before promising a coupon in a follow-up email.
If your campaign displays an offer immediately, verify that experience independently from email fulfillment. Write the success message around what you have verified, including where the visitor will find the offer.
Troubleshoot the failing stage
If Brevo blocks unknown API IP addresses, use OptinMonster’s current published allowlist. Keep the source link in your handoff notes rather than copying an IP list that may become stale.
When the contact exists but the email is missing, inspect the Brevo automation. When a value is missing, inspect the mapping and destination attribute. A conversion count alone does not prove that every field and follow-up arrived.
Source checked September 6, 2026. The vendor guide displays a July 28, 2023 update date. More connectors: OptinMonster integrations.
