How Can I Change the Email Address of My Lead Notifications on Poptin?

Lead notification emails are per popup, not per account. Edit the campaign, turn on Send Leads to Email, add up to five addresses, and publish. Repeat for every popup that should notify a different inbox.

How do I change the recipient?

  1. Log in to Poptin.
  2. Find the popup. Open the dropdown next to it and click Edit Design.
  3. Scroll to Email and Integrations → Send Leads to Email.
  4. Turn the toggle on.
  5. Type the recipient address. You can add up to five.
  6. Click Next or Publish Changes in the top right.

If the new address does not get a test lead, you skipped publish, or you edited a different campaign than the one firing on the site.

Does this change every popup?

No. Each campaign has its own recipient list. A site with a cart popup and a newsletter popup needs both edited if both should hit the same inbox.

This setting is only the notification. It does not subscribe the lead to Mailchimp, HubSpot or Campaign Monitor. That is Add Integration on the same panel. Walkthroughs: Campaign Monitor, SendGrid, Customer.io, Zoho CRM.

To stop the emails entirely, turn the same toggle off. Poptin also has a separate help article for disabling new-lead emails from inside the editor (help.poptin.com).
