How Can I Add Subaccounts to My Popupsmart Account?

Emel DalabasmazUpdated September 6, 20262 min read

Popupsmart now labels these as team members, not subaccounts. The dashboard path is Account → Team members. They can build and track campaigns. They cannot change billing, the plan, or download invoices.

Vendor source: How to add team members, checked September 6, 2026. Seat limits changed on 1 November 2024.

How many seats does each plan get?

Plan Team members
Free 0
Basic 1
Advanced 2
Pro (help article says "Professional") 2
Expert 4

Source: that help article's table. Plan names on popupsmart.com/pricing use Pro, not Professional.

How do I invite someone?

  1. Log in. Bottom left → AccountTeam members.

  2. Add teammate.

  3. Enter the email, Next.

  4. Toggle Campaign Access or Full Access, then Send Invitation.

  5. They switch accounts from a dropdown at the top of their own login.

You can change permissions or remove a teammate from the arrow on the right of their row.

Need more seats? Upgrade or look at the vendor's Agency plan, which is not priced on the public page.

Decide the access needed before sending the invitation

Write down which campaigns the teammate will maintain and who owns billing decisions. Use the available access setting that matches that work. Do not interpret a label such as Full Access as proof of permission to perform every account action; check the restrictions described by the vendor and the actual account.

Verify the invitation and workspace

Check Expected result
Recipient Invitation goes to the intended work email
Account The teammate selects the correct shared account after signing in
Campaign visibility The campaigns needed for the role are visible
Permissions Available actions match the approved access level
Offboarding The owner knows where to change or remove access

A delivered invitation is not evidence that the recipient can reach the intended campaign. Ask the teammate to confirm the account and access after accepting, then investigate a missing campaign separately from a missing invitation. Do not share the owner's login as a substitute for resolving access.

If an invitation cannot be added, compare current membership and plan allowance before assuming an upgrade is required. If a teammate cannot perform an expected action, review the assigned access and account selection. These are editorial verification suggestions, not a test performed in a live shared account.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Can a Popupsmart teammate change billing or download invoices?

The team member guide explicitly excludes updating billing information, changing the price plan and downloading invoices. Do not assume that an access label overrides these documented limitations.

Where can I change or remove a Popupsmart teammate’s access?

The guide points to the arrow on the right of the teammate’s row for permission management or removal. Confirm the intended recipient and account before changing access.
