Can I Create a Campaign That Only Shows on Mobile in Sleeknote?

Emel DalabasmazUpdated September 6, 20262 min read

Yes. Sleeknote builds a desktop layout and a mobile layout in the same campaign. You edit them separately. To show the campaign only on phones, turn the desktop version off.

How do I make a Sleeknote campaign mobile-only?

  1. Open the campaign in the Campaign Builder.
  2. Go to the Design step. You will see desktop and mobile.
  3. Disable the desktop version.
  4. Edit the mobile layout on its own (copy, image size, button). Save.

The same article says you can do the reverse: disable mobile and leave a desktop-only campaign.

Check how visitors open the campaign

Sleeknote’s mobile teaser documentation says that, by default, visitors open a mobile campaign by clicking its teaser. Device selection and opening behavior are separate settings: enabling mobile does not mean the full form immediately appears.

Verify the mobile experience

Check Expected evidence
Mobile visit The intended teaser or opening behavior is available
Desktop visit The disabled desktop version stays hidden
Teaser tap The campaign opens with readable copy
Keyboard open Inputs and submit controls remain reachable
Form errors A visitor can understand and correct invalid input
Dismissal Closing the campaign returns to usable page content
Submission The receiving workflow gets the controlled test data

These are editorial acceptance checks, not results from account-level testing. Test the published configuration on an actual phone as well as a browser preview. Record the device, page and outcome so layout and targeting issues can be distinguished.

Do not treat a blank desktop preview as a failed installation when desktop was intentionally disabled. Conversely, a working mobile layout does not establish that your URL conditions are correct; test both included and excluded pages when the campaign has a limited scope.

For language-specific pages, see Sleeknote multilingual targeting.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same setting to make a desktop-only campaign?

Yes. Sleeknote documents the reverse setup: disable the mobile version and keep the desktop version enabled. Verify both device experiences after saving the change.
