How to Integrate Sleeknote with Drip
Sleeknote documents a direct Drip integration that sends leads to People and a submission event for automation. Use the official Drip guide alongside your account.
How do I get the Drip API token?
- Log in to Drip. Open Settings → User settings.
- Copy the API token.
Keep the token in the integration settings and out of shared screenshots.
How do I connect Drip in Sleeknote?
-
In the Campaign Builder, open Integrations. Choose Drip. Continue.
-
Paste the API token.
-
If the Drip instance has more than one account, copy the Account ID from Drip Settings → Account and paste it. Skip this on a single-account Drip.
-
Click authenticate.
-
Map Sleeknote fields to Drip fields.
-
Assign new subscribers to a Drip tag, or type a new tag.
-
Save. Activate the campaign.
Verify the person and the submission event
| Check | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Account | The person appears in the intended Drip account |
| Fields | Submitted values arrive in the selected destinations |
| Tags | The intended existing or new tag is applied |
| Submission event | The test produces the event expected by your workflow |
| Follow-up | The configured automation runs for the test record |
| Repeat signup | An existing-person test produces the behavior you intend |
These are editorial acceptance checks, not results from a customer account. Record the campaign, test time and destination account so a missing event can be traced without guessing which connection was used.
A person record alone does not prove that the intended automation started. If the person exists but the follow-up is missing, inspect the event and workflow conditions before reconnecting the integration. If the person is absent, check authentication, account selection and field mapping.
Keep the data useful
The vendor documents optional custom values and signup-page data. Choose the values your follow-up or reporting actually needs, then inspect a test record for the expected format. Avoid adding fields merely because they are available.
After changing a tag or destination field, repeat the affected test and record which workflow depends on that value. This makes later campaign edits easier to review.
