How to Integrate Sleeknote with Mailchimp

Emel DalabasmazUpdated August 23, 20261 min read

Sleeknote still lists Mailchimp as a direct integration on sleeknote.com/integrations (checked 23 August 2026). You do not need Zapier for a basic list sync.

Sleeknote is still Sleeknote. Founders bought it back, with Drip, in November 2025. Mailchimp is still Intuit's product. Nothing here merged.

Mailchimp's menus move. If Account → Extras → API keys is gone, search Mailchimp help for "API key." The Sleeknote side is still: Integrations step → Mailchimp → paste key → list → map fields.

How do I get the Mailchimp API key?

  1. Log in to Mailchimp. Open your profile. Open Account (some accounts say Account & billing).
  2. Open Extras, then API keys.
  3. Copy an existing key, or create one.
Choosing API Keys under the Extras tab on Mailchimp page

Treat that key like a password.

How do I connect it in Sleeknote?

  1. In the Campaign Builder, open the Integrations step. Choose Mailchimp. Continue.
  2. Paste the API key. Submit.
  3. Pick the Mailchimp audience (list) for new signups. Continue.
Entering and sending the leads section
  1. Map each Sleeknote field to a Mailchimp field.
  2. Turn on double opt-in or a welcome email if you use them.
  3. Save the integration. Activate the campaign.

New leads should land in that audience. If they do not, download the CSV (Sleeknote keeps signups for three months) and check the mapping. Where can I find my leads on Sleeknote?.

GDPR fields in Mailchimp have their own Sleeknote article: How to enable GDPR fields in Mailchimp.
