How to Add or Delete Websites on Wisepops?
Manage domains under Settings → Websites. Add a website and install its tracking code to begin setup. To remove a website permanently, the documented sequence is deactivate first, then delete.

Choose the right action
| Your objective | Action | Check before proceeding |
|---|---|---|
| Set up another domain | Add website | Correct domain and installation method |
| Stop pageview counting for a site | Deactivate | Which site and workflows will be affected |
| Permanently remove the domain record | Deactivate, then delete | Records and settings you still need |
The help article says plans include at least one website and lists additional websites at $10 per month. Check your current Wisepops plan or agreement before adding a billable site; the help article is not a quote for every account.
Add a website
Open Settings → Websites → Add website, enter the domain and confirm. Install the Wisepops tracking code using the appropriate installation instructions for your site.
Record the domain and environment before installing. Distinguish production from a test site, and check whether an existing app, plugin or code placement already loads Wisepops. Registering a domain is not proof that its code is installed correctly.
After installation, inspect the published website and test an intended campaign under its actual display conditions. Check a representative mobile page and any separate templates that need coverage. If a popup does not appear, inspect installation and campaign eligibility separately.
Deactivate a website
Use the site’s three-dot menu and choose Deactivate. The vendor says deactivated sites stop counting pageviews and stop accruing the additional-website charge while deactivated.
Record the change and check the account’s displayed state. Do not infer that deactivating one domain cancels the whole account subscription or defines how a previous charge is handled. Confirm any billing question against your account details.
Delete a website permanently
Deactivate the intended site first, then reopen its three-dot menu and choose Delete. Review the selected domain before confirming. Save needed lead exports and record settings where available before taking this step.
The source describes permanent domain deletion but does not specify a recovery window or every data-retention consequence. Confirm those details with Wisepops if retained campaign or lead data is essential. Avoid treating a new record for the same domain as a guaranteed restoration.
Verify the handoff
Record the domain, chosen action, account state and what you checked on the published website. Review installed code separately when retiring a site; a dashboard change does not prove code was removed from your theme or tag manager.
If the displayed state conflicts with what you expected, collect the domain and approximate change time for support. Return to Wisepops help for campaign tasks.
Questions before you decide
Frequently asked questions
Does Wisepops count pageviews while a website is deactivated?
The website-management guide says pageviews are not counted for a deactivated website and its additional-website charge stops while deactivated. This is not a statement that the entire account subscription is cancelled.
