wisepops.com/pricing is a demo page, not a public grid (checked 2026-08-23). Homepage FAQ at wisepops.com says the high-touch plan starts at $499/month. The pricing-page FAQ says plans start at €499/month. Shopify App Store lists self-serve at $299/month for 500k pageviews (apps.shopify.com/pop-up-builder-wisepops), or $2,990/year. Annual billing is two months free. Extra sites are $10/website/month (support.wisepops.com/en/articles/9897759-manage-your-websites). The 2023 $49/100k grid is withdrawn.

📌
Checked 23 August 2026. wisepops.com/pricing does not list pageview tiers. It books a demo. The only public self-serve number is the Shopify app: $299/month for 500k pageviews ($2,990/year). The managed floor is $499/month on wisepops.com and €499/month on the pricing-page FAQ. Those currencies conflict. We don't invent a grid they won't print.

Wisepops meters on pageviews, not popup displays. A page load with the setup code counts even if nothing shows. That was true in 2023. It is still true. What changed is the storefront: the $49 / 100k plan we used to list is gone.

The Shopify listing includes unlimited popup and notification campaigns, AI product recommendations, 140+ templates, web push, A/B testing and Klaviyo. The homepage says every plan includes the full platform with no feature gating. Help-center A/B docs still mark some experiment features as "2025 plan" / Essential-only. We can't reconcile those two claims from outside the account, so both stay on the record.

Capterra still listed a "Kick-Starter" at $599/month for 1 million pageviews when we looked. That is a directory, not Wisepops. We don't treat it as a current vendor price.

How does Wisepops billing work?

Monthly or annual. Annual is "two months free" (homepage FAQ and billing help, updated 30 January 2026). Upgrades and downgrades prorate. Shopify billing uses Shopify's own proration.

Pageviews. One load of a page with the Wisepops code = one pageview. Reloads count. Custom events count. Bots can inflate the number; Wisepops says it has "minimal bot-mitigation" unless you block them yourself.

Limits. Emails fire at 80% and 90% of the cap. Without Extra Pageviews, campaigns pause at the cap until you upgrade, enable overage, or the month resets. With Extra Pageviews, you pay 1.5x the base rate, and you cannot go past double the plan. Worked example from the help article: a $99 plan with a 1,000,000 cap costs $0.15 per 1,000 extra pageviews. That $99 figure is their example, not a live tier.

Websites. "All plans include one free website or more." Extra sites are $10/month. Deactivating a site stops counting its pageviews and stops the extra-site charge. Deleting is permanent. The 2023 claim that every plan included five websites is stale.

Trial. 14 days, per the pricing-page FAQ. Whether a card is required is not stated. Unverified.

What did the 2023 grid look like?

We listed these on this page in January 2023. They are withdrawn. Do not use them to buy.

2023 tier Monthly Annual equivalent
100k pageviews $49 $41/mo (17% off)
250k $99 $83/mo
500k $149 $124/mo
1M $249 $208/mo
1M+ / enterprise contact sales contact sales

G2's pricing tab still showed remnants of that era when we checked (Essential 100k $99, last noted 21 July 2025). After the June 2026 standardisation Wisepops announced to customers, those numbers are not on the vendor site.

Is Wisepops expensive for a popup tool?

Yes, against self-serve popup builders with public grids.

Hello Bar still advertises a free forever plan. Paid entry is Growth at $39/month billed annually on the hero cards (hellobar.com/pricing, 23 August 2026); the same page still prints a $29 table. Mailmunch publishes a free plan and Premium at $19.99/month, or $13.99/month billed annually (mailmunch.com/pricing, 23 August 2026). Adoric publishes Basic at $100/month for 300k pageviews (adoric.com/pricing, 2026). Wisepops' cheapest verified number is $299, and only on Shopify.

That is the honest comparison: Wisepops is priced like a managed CRO retainers' little sibling, not like a $30 widget. If the strategist and the six channels are the product you want, $499 can be cheaper than an agency. If you wanted the 2023 $49 tool, it isn't for sale.

Head-to-heads: Wisepops vs Hello Bar, Wisepops vs Mailmunch, Wisepops vs Adoric, Wisepops vs Sumo. More options: Wisepops alternatives.

Wisepops pricing FAQs

Why don't they show prices on the site?

Their own FAQ on wisepops.com/pricing (23 August 2026): "Because pricing depends on your traffic volume, channels, and level of service. The audit tells us (and you) exactly what plan makes sense. Plans start at €499/month."

Can I buy Wisepops without a demo?

On Shopify, yes: the app lists $299/month for 500k pageviews with a 14-day trial. On other CMSs we could not find a self-serve checkout. The homepage FAQ says self-service is "for smaller sites" via the Shopify App Store, without the audit, strategist or monthly reviews.

Does Wisepops have a free plan?

No. 14-day trial only. The 7-day traffic audit is free if you take the demo; it is not a product plan.

What happens if I go over my pageviews?

You get warned at 80% and 90%. Then either campaigns pause, or Extra Pageviews bills at 1.5x the plan rate up to double the cap. Extra Pageviews is not available on Shopify billing unless you switch billing, per the help center.
