Both tools put campaigns on a site: popups, bars, targeting, ESP sync. They are not interchangeable in 2026. Adoric still sells software with a price table. Wisepops sells a traffic-activation service and keeps the table in a demo.

How do the products differ?
Adoric's pitch is behavioural segments and product recommendations. Wisepops' pitch is six activation channels plus a person. If recommendations are the job, Adoric is the more honest match. If you want quizzes, an on-site feed and web push under one targeting model, Wisepops has more surface area.
Both sync Mailchimp-class ESPs and GA/GTM. Wisepops' Klaviyo path is documented and used heavily on Shopify. Adoric lists Shopify and Magento too. Neither integration list is a reason to pick one by itself; check the connector you actually run. Indexes: Wisepops integrations, Adoric integrations.
Targeting: both do behaviour, time on page, referrer, cookies. Wisepops reviewers (G2 4.5/5) still name targeting as a reason to stay. Adoric reviewers (small Capterra sample, 5.0 from 10) name segmentation too. Sample sizes are not comparable.
Which one is cheaper?
Adoric, on published numbers. Basic is $100/month for 300k pageviews and 3 domains. Wisepops' cheapest verified number is $299, Shopify-only, for 500k pageviews. High-touch is from $499 / €499. Extra Wisepops sites are $10/month.
Shopify complicates it: Adoric also sells a usage-based Shopify app (orders/revenue influenced). That can undercut or overshoot $100 depending on volume. Compare like with like: web grid vs web grid, Shopify app vs Shopify app.
Who should pick which?
Adoric if you want a printed price, you are fine without a strategist, and product recs are part of the brief. Wisepops if you will use feed/push/quizzes and you accept a demo (or you are on Shopify and $299 is acceptable).
If both feel heavy, look at Hello Bar or Popupsmart instead. More options: Wisepops alternatives. Reviews: Wisepops, Adoric.
