Alia’s website shows different Basic pricing, including $200 for 20,000 visitors, and a Fully Managed option. Confirm the plan and charge in checkout; the $100 entry is the Shopify listing, not a reconciled quote. Basic has a 14-day trial; the help centre describes 30 days for Fully Managed.

Who each one is for

Start with your use case, then weigh the strengths and limitations that matter to your site.

Consider Alia Popups for

Shopify teams that already have an email or SMS platform and want to test a dedicated capture tool, with the option to pay for managed optimization.

  • Smart Testing automates experiments while letting teams review proposed changes
  • Documented connections to Klaviyo, Omnisend, Postscript and other marketing tools
  • Visitor-based tiers make the traffic allowance explicit
  • Optional managed service adds a customer success manager and managed testing

Watch for these limitations

  • Website and Shopify listing show different prices; confirm the charge before subscribing
  • A free trial is available, but no ongoing free plan is listed
  • The advertised conversion and revenue gains are vendor claims, not guaranteed results
  • Non-Shopify support is unclear across public sources; confirm your platform first

Consider Adoric for

Shopify stores that want popups plus product recs on order-based billing, not a $100 web floor.

  • Shopify app is $4.99/mo for up to 100 store orders
  • Behaviour, cookie, HTML and event targeting on the web product
  • Shopify App Store rating 4.9 from 245 reviews as of 23 Aug 2026

Watch for these limitations

  • Web paid plans start at $100/mo, up from $9 in 2023
  • A/B tests and logo removal sit on $250 and $350 tiers
  • G2 rating could not be loaded; web review volume is thin

Choose Alia for a dedicated Shopify capture-testing workflow; compare Adoric when product recommendations and its separate Shopify offer matter.

This is a source-based comparison, not a hands-on performance benchmark. Alia documentation was checked on 5 September 2026. Adoric’s website and Shopify pricing pages were also checked on 5 September 2026. The two products use different billing units, and the Shopify page retains an unresolved upper-tier allowance conflict.

Capture experiments or a broader merchandising job?

Alia belongs on a shortlist for a team that wants to keep improving the signup experience. Adoric’s profile describes both popup campaigns and product recommendations, with separate web and Shopify offers. If the project is partly about merchandising, compare the actual recommendation workflow before treating the products as interchangeable.

For a Shopify store, do not compare Adoric’s web SaaS entry price with Alia’s Shopify listing and call that the entire cost comparison. The Adoric pricing note explicitly distinguishes the two routes.

What should you compare on price?

Alia’s Shopify listing starts at $100/month for 20,000 visitors, but its website shows a different Basic offer. The card above identifies the listing basis and the discrepancy. Confirm the actual charge before deciding which product is cheaper.

Adoric’s Shopify pricing table starts at $4.99/month for 0–100 store orders and changes with order volume. It refers to store orders, not only orders attributed to popups. Its table pairs $399.99 with 7,001–8,000 orders, while the FAQ says that price includes 10,000; confirm the quote near that boundary. Adoric’s $100 website Basic plan is a separate pageview-based offer.

Confirm which Adoric product you would install, what its order-based Shopify offer includes and who will operate the campaigns. For Alia, confirm the visitor tier and whether self-service or managed testing is being sold.

Which requirement should guide the evaluation?

Requirement What to inspect Practical check
Dedicated signup experiments Alia Smart Testing Review the proposed change, audience and outcome before activating a test
Product recommendations alongside capture Adoric’s Shopify offer Check actual products, destination links and fallback behavior
Predictable seasonal cost Store orders for Adoric; visitors for the cited Alia offer Forecast both units and obtain the relevant tier quotes
Work on a non-Shopify website Adoric’s separate web offering Verify the required feature tier rather than applying Shopify prices

The Adoric feature page describes web targeting and control comparisons, but its web feature list is not a complete entitlement map for the Shopify app. Do not infer that Alia’s experiment workflow and every Adoric app share the same controls.

How would we run a fair evaluation?

Use the same offer, audience and destination workflow. Record the traffic period and any other store changes. Verify that a fresh test signup reaches the intended list and receives the intended follow-up before using submission counts to judge either product.

Compare confirmed new subscribers and store outcomes against the total ongoing cost. Include discounts and staff time. A higher signup rate is not automatically a profitable improvement, and vendor case studies do not establish the result your store will achieve.

Which should you shortlist?

Choose Alia for a dedicated Shopify capture-testing workflow; compare Adoric when product recommendations and its separate Shopify offer matter.

Start with the requirement described above, then inspect the controls needed to meet it. If neither product has a confirmed plan and installation path that fits, expand the shortlist through Alia alternatives or Adoric alternatives.

Sources and limits

The Alia feature discussion uses its Smart Testing documentation, trial guide and integration directory. The Adoric side uses its Shopify pricing, web pricing and feature page. Our judgments describe fit; they do not assert an independently measured winner or invent a shared review score.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Does Adoric’s $4.99 entry price apply to every website?

No. That price belongs to its Shopify order-based offering at 0–100 store orders. The separate website Basic plan starts at $100/month and uses pageviews. Compare the product you would actually install with Alia’s Shopify offer.

Does Adoric bill only orders generated by its popups?

The Shopify pricing page bases charges on store orders received from Shopify, not only popup-attributed orders. Forecast total store orders for that offer. Alia’s cited listing uses visitors, so the two prices require separate usage forecasts.

Is Adoric’s highest listed order allowance unambiguous?

No. The table says 7,001–8,000 orders at $399.99, while the FAQ says that price covers 10,000. Confirm the applicable tier before choosing near that boundary. The disagreement should remain visible in a cost comparison rather than being silently resolved.

What should I test before choosing between Alia and Adoric?

For Alia, inspect the documented Smart Testing workflow and how the operator reviews experiments. For Adoric’s Shopify offering, test the required capture or recommendation flow with real store data. Use the same offer and destination when comparing signup results; broader features alone do not establish a performance winner.
