Shopify lists $100/month for 20,000 visitors, $200 for 50,000, $300 for 100,000 and $400 for 300,000. Alia’s website shows different Basic pricing, including $200 for 20,000 visitors, and a Fully Managed option. Confirm the plan and charge in checkout; the $100 entry is the Shopify listing, not a reconciled quote. Basic has a 14-day trial; the help centre describes 30 days for Fully Managed.

CheckedSeptember 2026Alia Popups’s own pricing page

Alia bills by visitor tier, with separate self-service and managed-service choices in its public materials. The important pricing question is which offer you are approving, not just which number appears in a search result.

The Shopify App Store and website pricing cards were rechecked on 6 September 2026. The trial terms and upgrade documentation retain their 5 September check date. This page records public offers; it is not a vendor quote.

Shopify-listed monthly tiers

Visitor allowance Listed monthly price Trial shown Source
20,000 $100 14 days Shopify listing
50,000 $200 14 days Shopify listing
100,000 $300 14 days Shopify listing
300,000 $400 14 days Shopify listing

These are USD figures on the Shopify listing. That listing describes recurring billing every 30 days and points larger stores toward the website. Do not infer a price above the listed visitor tiers by multiplying the entry price.

Why does the website show a different price?

At research time, the website pricing page contained Basic cards showing $200/month for 20,000 visitors and $400/month for 50,000 visitors, alongside a Fully Managed offer at $400/month for 20,000 visitors. It also showed monthly and yearly controls. These figures do not reconcile with the Shopify listing above.

We cannot establish whether the difference reflects an offer, a rollout or the site’s pricing controls. Confirm the selected visitor tier, billing period, service level, trial end date and final charge before accepting billing. Keep a copy of the terms you approved.

Basic versus Fully Managed

The distinction is service as well as traffic. Alia’s upgrade guide describes a dedicated customer success manager, managed in-app testing and a Slack channel with Fully Managed. Compare that responsibility with your own team’s available time. Paying for a service does not establish that it will produce profitable incremental sales.

Is there a free plan?

The sources we checked advertise a trial, not an ongoing free tier. The trial guide describes 14 days for Basic and 30 days for Fully Managed. It also says the selected plan becomes paid when the trial ends. Review the account’s billing screen if you do not intend to continue.

What happens when traffic grows?

Alia’s upgrade documentation describes manual visitor-tier changes and says it does not automatically upgrade plans. Shopify handles Shopify-account upgrades on a prorated basis. The guide does not give us enough detail to promise how every account behaves at its cap, so confirm continuity with support if traffic spikes matter to your store.

What should I compare before paying?

Use visitor counts for Alia; do not substitute raw site pageviews or popup displays. Compare the same period, expected traffic, necessary service level and marketing-platform bill. A tool that includes email sending is not the same bundle as a capture-only subscription. See Alia vs Privy for that decision, or all alternatives for other trade-offs.

Separate traffic cost from service scope

Build a short purchase record with four fields: signup route, visitor tier, service level and billing approval amount. The website and Shopify listing do not give a single reconciled public entry offer, so a quote without its route is incomplete. Keep a screenshot or written confirmation of the actual offer you accept.

For a managed option, add the work included and who owns each task. More assistance may reduce internal effort, but it should not be priced as though it were the same purchase as software alone. Compare the confirmed recurring amount with the internal work it replaces; do not insert assumed conversion gains into the budget.

Check the allowance even when a comparison says unlimited

Alia’s January 2026 Popupsmart alternatives article uses language about unrestricted usage, while its own plan table in that article lists a 20,000-visitor allowance. The current Shopify listing also publishes visitor tiers. Treat the comparison article as vendor positioning, not a replacement for the terms of the plan you approve.

The practical question is what the allowance counts and what happens at the limit. Record the answer with the signup route and service level. “All features” and “unlimited visitors” are different claims; neither should be inferred from the other.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

How much does Alia cost?

The Shopify listing starts at $100 per month for 20,000 visitors and also lists higher visitor tiers. Alia’s website shows a different Basic offer. Confirm the amount, visitor allowance, billing route and service level in your actual approval screen. Our pricing breakdown preserves the discrepancy instead of presenting the lowest public figure as a universal quote.

Which Alia price should I use if the website and Shopify disagree?

Use the offer in your actual billing approval flow, and retain a record of its limits and terms. Our page preserves the different public offers so you can ask about the discrepancy. Do not assume that the lowest figure found on either site applies to every signup route.

Will Alia automatically move me to a larger visitor tier?

The plan-change documentation describes visitor-tier changes as manual rather than automatic upgrades. Monitor the allowance and confirm what happens when your particular plan reaches its limit; do not infer an overage or upgrade policy from the visitor number alone.

Does the trial become a paid subscription automatically?

The trial guide describes automatic paid continuation. Record the end date and the plan you selected, then make a keep-or-cancel decision before that date. Confirm the applicable terms in the account rather than assuming that uninstalling and canceling are always the same action.

How should I compare managed Alia with a self-service tool?

Compare the service scope and recurring cost as well as the software. Ask what setup, testing and continuing assistance are included. A managed offer and a self-service subscription are different purchases even when both show a monthly visitor allowance.
