Suggested setup checks

Connect the channel you actually need

Email and SMS can have different destination and consent requirements. Verify each intended path.

  1. Choose the connector

Start with the sending platform and account that must receive the contact. The tutorials below cover only part of Alia’s documented connector collection.

  2. Confirm channel settings

For Klaviyo, check email and SMS lists separately. For Omnisend, check the welcome-email choice. For Postscript Onsite Opt-in, inspect the flow source or custom-field filters described in its guide.

  3. Test downstream behavior

Submit a fresh contact for the intended channel, verify the stored information and check the expected follow-up. Avoid changing consent settings simply to force delivery.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Why should I select separate email and SMS lists in Klaviyo?

Alia’s Klaviyo setup documents separate destinations for those channels. Confirm that both intended lists are selected and that a sample signup reaches the appropriate one. An email capture check does not establish that the SMS handoff is configured.

Does this directory contain every Alia integration?

No. It contains our published setup guides, initially covering Klaviyo, Omnisend and Postscript. Alia’s official integration collection lists additional connections. Check that collection for a connector not yet covered here.

What should I verify after authorizing the marketing account?

Check the account identity, selected destination, submitted fields and expected follow-up. Use a fresh test contact so an existing subscription does not hide a failed step. This is our verification checklist, alongside the documented connection steps.
