Who each one is for

Start with your use case, then weigh the strengths and limitations that matter to your site.

Consider Hello Bar for

Sites that need focused bars, popups or inline campaigns and already have an email or CRM platform for follow-up.

  • Current grid lists bars, slide-ins, overlays, inline units, video and gamified campaigns
  • Paid plans list customizable targeting and unlimited A/B tests
  • Pricing FAQ names common email platforms and Zapier on every plan
  • Regular paid allowances are defined per website property

Watch for these limitations

  • Starter's 5,000 displayed views are lifetime rather than monthly
  • The current pricing page shows two conflicting paid price sets
  • Current quota-pause guidance conflicts with an older overage article
  • Advanced webhooks and deeper CRM connections are listed for Premium and Elite

Consider Adoric for

Teams that need browser-state targeting on a general website, or Shopify capture and merchandising widgets in one app.

  • Vendor documentation covers popups, forms, in-page content and gamified campaigns
  • Website targeting includes cookies, HTML selectors, JavaScript variables and browser storage
  • Non-Shopify recommendation guide documents catalog formats and required product fields
  • Shopify route combines email capture, recommendations, upsells and shipping bars

Watch for these limitations

  • General website paid plans start at $100 per month on the current public card
  • A/B testing is listed from Essentials and logo removal from Standard
  • Website and Shopify routes use different meters and cannot share one cost comparison
  • The marketplace and vendor pages conflict on Free eligibility for a live Shopify store

Which plan should be quoted for testing?

Hello Bar Growth includes A/B testing at its checked $348 annual rate. Adoric website Essentials introduces testing and scheduling at $250 monthly, totaling $3,000 across twelve monthly payments. Essentials also includes 1,000,000 pageviews and four domains, so that difference is not an equal-capacity comparison.

Define the experiment, audience allocation and success event before buying. Verify the same controls in both accounts. Do not compare Adoric Basic’s price with a testing-enabled plan or infer reliable results from a short low-traffic trial.

How do the billing units change the forecast?

A website pageview may produce no popup view or multiple displays. Targeting and frequency can change the relationship between the two. Forecast website activity and campaign exposure separately and confirm each account’s definitions.

Adoric’s non-Shopify pageview guide, checked 5 September 2026, describes counting after snippet installation rather than only when a campaign displays. Its historical plan ladder should not replace the current pricing cards.

For example, a site with 100,000 pageviews and 20,000 popup views would fit the stated entry allowances of both website offers. That planning example does not establish identical features, domain support or a measured billing result.

What changes on Shopify?

Adoric’s Shopify charge uses the previous month’s store orders, not only popup-attributed orders. The $4.99 figure covers 0–100 orders. Record total orders separately from Hello Bar display volume before comparing quotes.

At the upper boundary, Adoric’s table pairs $399.99 with 7,001–8,000 orders while its FAQ says 10,000. Confirm the applicable band near that range. Identify the exact installed app instead of assuming every Adoric app shares a subscription.

Which integrations need a higher tier?

Hello Bar lists basic HubSpot and other email connections across plans. Deeper CRM connections and custom webhooks require Premium or Elite; Premium’s checked annual total is $588. The old Elite-only description should not replace the current table.

Adoric website Standard at $350 monthly adds extra integrations, logo removal and read events. Its page does not map every connector clearly. Specify the destination, fields, consent state and event, then verify entitlement and send a test record before treating two connectors as equivalent.

What can the free evaluation establish?

Hello Bar Starter has 5,000 lifetime views, not a monthly reset. At 1,000 views daily it would last about five days. Adoric’s Shopify ongoing free plan is limited to development stores and its trial is seven days. Confirm website terms independently.

Test the actual campaign format, mobile layout, dismissal and destination record. Hello Bar’s paid quota policy describes campaigns pausing at the allowance until reset or upgrade; obtain the selected Adoric account’s terms separately before a promotion.

Choose the plan that meets the full campaign and billing brief. These are evaluation criteria, not a claim that one tool installs faster or offers universally better targeting. A bar, game or popup label alone does not establish its field, reward and integration behavior.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Which plans should I compare for A/B testing?

Hello Bar Growth includes testing at $348 annually. Adoric website Essentials introduces testing at $250 monthly, with 1,000,000 pageviews and four domains. Compare the intended experiment and capacity rather than the entry price alone.

Does Adoric Shopify count only popup-attributed orders?

No. Its Shopify page uses the previous month’s store orders received from Shopify. The starting $4.99 offer covers 0–100 orders. Keep that forecast separate from Hello Bar popup views.

Are custom webhooks included in Hello Bar Growth?

The current pricing table reserves custom webhooks for Premium and Elite. Premium is $588 annually at the checked rate. Verify the matching Adoric connector and plan because its extra-integration wording does not map every destination.

Do Hello Bar free views reset monthly?

No. Starter lists 5,000 lifetime views. At 1,000 displays daily that would last roughly five days, as a planning example. Paid plans have monthly view allowances instead.
