Who should win: Privy or Wisepops?

Privy Wisepops
Job Shopify capture + email/SMS On-site messaging
Targeting Solid Convert rules Among the deepest in the field
Campaign types Popups, bars, embeds, quizzes, plus Flows Popups, bars, embeds, one model
Sending In-app Bring an ESP
Price Public ladder from $24 Demo for most CMSs; Shopify listing $299/month at 500k pageviews
Sites per plan One store, typical Shopify Extra sites $10/website/month

The 2023 $49/100k grid is withdrawn. Wisepops pricing is the live write-up.

How do the features differ?

Wisepops is the popup tool this category wishes more vendors still were: drag-and-drop, 40-plus targeting rules, A/B tests, bars and embeds that share a campaign model. Spin-to-win and countdown deals are native. Analytics are built to tune the campaign, not to report ESP revenue.

Privy Convert is good enough. Cart value, product IDs, exit intent, device, URL, traffic type, known vs unknown. It is not 40-plus rules. The product investment since 2023 has gone into email, SMS, Flows and the Sendlane/Emotive deals, not into making Convert catch Wisepops.

So the honest split: already have Klaviyo? Wisepops (or OptiMonk) for the site, Klaviyo for the mail. No ESP yet, Shopify store, want one bill? Privy.

What about integrations?

Privy: Shopify-native sending plus Klaviyo/Mailchimp/Attentive/Postscript if you capture and send elsewhere. Privy integrations.

Wisepops: 60-plus CRMs and ESPs on this site's last notes, plus Shopify behaviour tracking. Broader ESP coverage because Wisepops never tried to replace the ESP. Wisepops integrations.

How do prices compare?

Privy 23 August 2026: Privy pricing.

Pageviews Privy Displays-only
10,000 $24/month
50,000 $84/month
100,000 $168/month

Wisepops 23 August 2026: no public grid on wisepops.com. Shopify self-serve $299/month at 500k pageviews (or $2,990/year). High-touch from $499/month or €499/month, depending which FAQ you hit. Extra sites $10/website/month. The 2023 $49/100k row is not a quote.

At 500k pageviews Privy Displays-only is $420/month. The Shopify Wisepops SKU at $299 is cheaper for that band, and it is Shopify-only. On any other CMS you book a demo.
