Wisepops VS Hello Bar Comparison

The verdict

Hello Bar is a cheap bar-and-popup tool with a free plan. Wisepops is a six-channel campaign system sold through a demo. Don't treat them as peers on price.

📌
These are not peers. Hello Bar is a popup and notification-bar builder with a free forever plan. Paid entry is Growth at $39/month billed annually on the hero cards at hellobar.com/pricing (23 August 2026). The same page still prints a $29 / $49 / $99 table. Wisepops is a six-channel on-site stack. Shopify self-serve is $299/month. High-touch starts at $499 or €499. If you wanted a bar live this afternoon, Hello Bar wins. If you wanted a CRO program, Wisepops is the one that sells that.

The 2023 copy on this URL treated them as two "lead generation platforms" with similar feature lists. That flattened the difference. Hello Bar is simpler and cheaper. Wisepops is heavier and sales-led.

Hello Bar's own pricing page disagrees with itself. Hero cards: Growth $39, Premium $69, Elite $129 billed annually. Feature table: $29 / $49 / $99. We follow the hero cards as the checkout-shaped number and flag the table. Details on Hello Bar pricing.

Features: bar vs campaign system

Hello Bar will get a top-of-page announcement or a basic opt-in live without a developer. That is the product. Wisepops will also do that, then quizzes, embeds, a notification feed and web push, with display rules that can look at cart contents and custom properties.

A/B testing exists on both paid sides. Wisepops' current experiment UI can pick CTR, order rate or revenue per visitor and keep a control group. Hello Bar's testing is real but thinner. If "prove incremental revenue" is the requirement, Wisepops is the closer tool. If "ship a bar" is the requirement, you are over-buying Wisepops.

Integrations: both talk to Mailchimp-class ESPs. Wisepops' Klaviyo and Shopify path is the one merchants describe in 2026 reviews. Hello Bar still lacks HubSpot on our last profile. Check Wisepops integrations and Hello Bar integrations against your stack.

Who should pick which?

Hello Bar if budget is the constraint, you want a free plan, or the campaign is a bar. Wisepops if you already decided to spend hundreds a month and you will use more than a lightbox.

The 2023 page claimed Wisepops had a free plan and a "Growth / Pro / Enterprise" ladder. That ladder is not on wisepops.com now. Hello Bar is the one that still has Starter / Growth / Premium / Elite.
