How Does Poptin Count Views?
Emel DalabasmazA view is one display of the campaign. If 1,000 people hit the site and the popup appears to 100 of them, the counter shows 100. Plans are billed on unique monthly visitors, not views. Hitting the visitor cap stops every campaign.

What is a view?
Every time the campaign appears, including to the same person on a later visit. Interaction does not matter. Close it, ignore it, convert on it: it still counted as a view when it showed.
Display rules decide whether it shows (exit intent, delay, scroll, page targeting). A tight rule produces few views on a busy site. That is expected.
What is a visitor, and why does the bill use that?
A unique monthly visitor is anyone who loads a page with the snippet in the last 30 days. Several sessions still count as one visitor, unless they delete cookies or switch device or browser. Bots are not counted.
The dashboard uses both words, and they do not mean the same thing:

Poptin's own agency example: 2,000 site visitors, 1,000 hit the homepage, half wait 10 seconds and see the popup. Overview = 2,000 visitors and 500 views. Campaign stats = 1,000 targeted visitors and 500 views.
Converted visitors are not counted again on that campaign's stats for 365 days (conversion cookie). They still count toward the plan's unique-visitor cap if they load a snipped page.
What happens at the cap?
Campaigns stop for new and returning visitors. Upgrade, or wait for the 30-day window. An admin-only frontend notice can be hidden in Profile; hiding it does not restore campaigns. Walkthrough: disable the monthly-limit popup.
