Unlimited campaigns, forms and leads on every plan. Source: poptin.com/pricing, 23 August 2026.

The annual math is the monthly rate × 12 × 0.8. Poptin prints that as "$25 x 12" with "$240 billed annually" on the same card, which is easy to misread. $25 × 12 is $300; $240 is the discounted total.

How does Poptin count visitors?

A unique monthly visitor is anyone who loads a page with the snippet in the last 30 days. Several sessions still count as one visitor, unless they delete cookies or use a different device or browser. Bots are not counted. Source: How does Poptin count visitors?, updated 13 January 2025.

That is not the same as a view. A view is counted every time a campaign actually appears. 1,000 visitors and 100 displays = 100 views. Source: How does Poptin count views?.

Hit the visitor cap and campaigns stop for everyone, new and returning. An admin-only frontend notice ("You're losing new leads & sales") can be turned off in Profile settings. Turning the notice off does not keep campaigns running. Walkthrough: disable the monthly-limit popup.

What do you actually get on each Poptins plan?

The compare table checks the same campaign types, triggers, targeting rules, A/B testing, analytics, 70+ native integrations, Zapier, Make and webhooks on Free through Agency. Paid plans buy:

  • more unique visitors
  • more domains (1 → 4 → unlimited)
  • autoresponder sends (1,000 / 5,000 / 15,000)
  • unbranded widgets (confirm Free yourself; Poptin's own locales disagree)
  • Agency: user creation for people who do not already have a Poptin account, plus premium support and phone in the table

Manage accounts (subaccounts) and manage users (share access) are listed on every card, including Free. Sharing with an existing Poptin login is a paid-plan path in the help article updated 3 August 2026. Creating a brand-new user is Agency.

What is the Emails & Poptins line?

A toggle on the same URL. Free on that line: 250 active contacts, 500 emails, 1,000 visitors, 1 domain. Growth: 500 active contacts, unlimited emails, 5,000 visitors, unlimited domains, premium support. Capterra and Software Advice list Growth at $19/mo. We could not read a dollar amount off the vendor Growth card itself, so treat $19 as a third-party listing until Poptin prints it.

Capterra also lists higher Agency visitor SKUs (300k $215, 500k $299, 1M $539, 2M $999) and 200,000 autoresponders on Agency. Those figures are not on the public cards we read. Unverified.

How does that compare with other popup builders?

Tool Meter Free tier Paid start we could verify Source, 23 Aug 2026
Poptin Unique visitors Yes, 1,000/mo Basic $25/mo poptin.com/pricing

Adoric Web: pageviews. Shopify: store orders Web free plan; Shopify 7-day trial Web Basic $100/mo. Shopify app $4.99/mo (0–100 orders) adoric.com/pricing; help.adoric.com
Mailmunch Contacts Yes Lead Capture Premium $19.99/mo or $13.99 billed annually mailmunch.com/pricing
Wisepops Pageviews 14-day trial No grid on wisepops.com. FAQ from $499/mo or €499/mo. Shopify app $299/mo (500k pageviews) Demo page plus Shopify listing
Sumo n/a n/a Brand discontinued (Showit → BDOW, 2023–24). sumo.com/pricing loads Refract n/a

Poptin is the cheap public-price option with a real free plan. Hello Bar meters views, not visitors, so a 50,000-view Growth cap is not comparable 1:1 with Poptin's 10,000-visitor Basic. Adoric's Shopify app is cheaper than Poptin at low order volume; Adoric web at $100 is not. Wisepops is the "talk to sales" end of the field, with a Shopify self-serve exception at $299/mo.

Head-to-heads: Poptin vs Adoric, vs Hello Bar, vs Mailmunch, vs Sumo, vs Wisepops. Product tour: Poptin.

Poptin pricing FAQs

Can I run Poptin for free?

Yes. Free is 1,000 unique visitors a month on one domain, unlimited campaigns, no credit card. Confirm branding in the editor before you publish.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Poptin's pricing FAQ says you cancel a paid plan from the Billing page in the dashboard.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?

Capterra lists a free trial. The public pricing page we read pushes Free with no card, not a timed trial on Basic/Pro/Agency. We could not confirm a 14-day paid-plan trial on the vendor page.

What happens when I hit the limit?

Campaigns stop for all visitors. Upgrade, or wait for the 30-day window to roll. An admin-only warning can be hidden in Profile settings; hiding it does not restore campaigns.

Which plan fits an agency?

Agency ($119/mo, $1,140/yr) is the one with unlimited domains and the ability to create users who do not already have a Poptin account. Pro caps you at four domains.
