Poptin VS Adoric Comparison

The verdict

Pick Poptin if the site is not a Shopify store, or you want a public visitor-based price with a free plan. Pick Adoric if you are on Shopify and want popups billed on monthly store orders, from $4.99/mo for 0–100 orders after a 7-day trial.

Poptin checked August 2026; Adoric checked August 2026. Both vendors change prices without notice — confirm on their own pages before you buy.

Pick Poptin if you want a public visitor-based price with a free plan (Basic $25/mo). Pick Adoric if you are on Shopify and want popups billed on monthly store orders, from $4.99/mo for 0–100 orders after a 7-day trial. Adoric's web SaaS is a different track: Basic $100/mo, pageview-metered. That $100 floor is why the Shopify app is the Adoric product people actually buy.

These are not the same product in 2026. Poptin is a general-web popup SaaS. Adoric sells a $100 web floor and a cheap Shopify app. The 2023 version of this page compared two similar $9–$29 ladders. That comparison is dead.

Adoric assigns the plan automatically from order volume. You do not pick a tier. Poptin does not auto-upgrade; hit 10,000 unique visitors on Basic and campaigns stop until you change plan.

A high-order Shopify store will outrun Adoric's cheap rungs fast ($99.99 at 1,001–2,000 orders). A content site with no Shopify orders cannot use that meter at all.

What is each tool actually for?

Poptin: popups, bars, slide-ins, overlays, gamified widgets, embedded forms. Triggers include exit intent, delay, scroll, cart, click. Targeting includes page, device, geo, traffic source, cookie, schedule. A/B testing is on the vendor table for every Poptins plan. Integrations: 70+ native, Zapier, Make, webhooks. Install: snippet, WordPress plugin, Shopify app, and the usual website builders.

Adoric: two commercial tracks. The Shopify app is popups plus product recs, billed on orders. The web SaaS is pageview-metered from $100/mo and still has behaviour, cookie, HTML and event targeting. A/B tests and logo removal sit on the $250 and $350 web tiers, not on Basic.

If the store is Shopify and order volume is low, Adoric's $4.99 app undercuts Poptin's $25 Basic. If the site is WordPress, Webflow, or five client domains, Poptin at $25 is the cheaper public web price. Adoric web at $100 is not.

How do integrations and install compare?

Poptin will push leads to Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, Zoho CRM, SendGrid, Customer.io and a long ESP list. Shopify is one install among many. Poptin integrations.

Adoric's cheap track is Shopify Billing. The web SaaS is a separate $100 floor. Connecting a form to an email provider is a help-centre article, not the commercial centre of the Shopify app.

Which one should you pick?

Shopify store, low-to-mid order volume, happy to live inside Shopify apps: Adoric's $4.99 track.

Any other site that wants a cheap public web price: Poptin. Do not pick Adoric web at $100/mo to beat Poptin's $25 Basic.

Neither is the design-led pick (Sleeknote) or the testing suite (OptinMonster). More options: Poptin alternatives, Adoric alternatives. Reviews: Poptin, Adoric.
