Who each one is for

Start with your use case, then weigh the strengths and limitations that matter to your site.

Consider Poptin for

Teams that want visitor-metered popups and forms, or want to test capture, audience management and email in one product.

  • Public free popup route lists 1,000 monthly visitors and one domain
  • Vendor material documents popups, forms, teasers, targeting and A/B testing
  • Current help guides document field-level setup for several integrations
  • Combined offering adds contact management, email campaigns and automations

Watch for these limitations

  • Popup-only and combined email routes use different limits and must be budgeted separately
  • A listed integration does not establish every field, update action or failure path
  • Visitor, contact and email allowances can create more than one upgrade trigger
  • Current G2 feedback was unavailable, so published marketplace ratings remain separate context

Consider Adoric for

Teams that need browser-state targeting on a general website, or Shopify capture and merchandising widgets in one app.

  • Vendor documentation covers popups, forms, in-page content and gamified campaigns
  • Website targeting includes cookies, HTML selectors, JavaScript variables and browser storage
  • Non-Shopify recommendation guide documents catalog formats and required product fields
  • Shopify route combines email capture, recommendations, upsells and shipping bars

Watch for these limitations

  • General website paid plans start at $100 per month on the current public card
  • A/B testing is listed from Essentials and logo removal from Standard
  • Website and Shopify routes use different meters and cannot share one cost comparison
  • The marketplace and vendor pages conflict on Free eligibility for a live Shopify store

Which website tier fits the requirement?

Poptin Basic has a lower entry cost, but its one-domain allowance is not a quote for several client sites. Pro lists four domains and 50,000 visitors at $59 monthly or $564 annually. A five-domain brief needs a different configuration; it cannot be priced as Basic at $25.

Adoric website Basic includes 300,000 pageviews and three domains. Testing and scheduling start on Essentials at $250 monthly, while Standard at $350 adds logo removal, read events and extra integrations. Verify the required targeting or connector rather than assuming it belongs to Basic.

Forecast visitors and pageviews separately. One visitor can generate several pageviews, and account definitions may differ from analytics. Adoric’s non-Shopify pageview guide, checked 5 September 2026, describes counting pageviews after snippet installation, not only campaign displays. Its historical tier ladder should not replace current pricing cards.

How does Shopify order billing change the budget?

Adoric’s Shopify page bases charges on the previous month’s store orders received from Shopify. It is not limited to orders attributed to a popup. Record total orders and visitor volume separately before comparing the Shopify offer with Poptin.

The $4.99 figure only describes the 0–100 band. At the upper end, the table pairs $399.99 with 7,001–8,000 orders, while the FAQ says 10,000. Confirm the applicable band near that boundary. Identify the installed app rather than assuming all Adoric apps share the same subscription.

A low order count does not itself prove a better fit: test the required audience, form fields and destination. Platform choice should follow the actual workflow, not only the billing unit.

Which free option applies to a live store?

Poptin Free lists 1,000 monthly visitors on one domain. Adoric’s Shopify FAQ limits the ongoing free plan to development stores and advertises a seven-day trial. Confirm website-product terms separately instead of transferring Shopify conditions to Adoric’s website offer.

Plan a representative evaluation within the allowance. Test mobile layout, dismissal, validation, consent and lead delivery. Obtain the selected account’s quota policy before a promotion; the old claim that Poptin always stops rather than upgrades is not established by the pricing evidence used here.

Does Poptin also cover email sending?

Poptin offers Emails & Poptins separately from popup-only plans. Its combined Free card lists 250 active contacts, 500 emails and 1,000 popup visitors on one domain. The popup-only Basic price is not a full email-replacement quote.

If keeping your sender, add its continuing cost to either capture subscription. If replacing it with Poptin, obtain the configured combined quote and map the automations and consent data that must move. Test new and existing contacts separately before switching.

How should you choose?

Compare Poptin’s required visitor and domain tier with Adoric’s appropriate website or Shopify offer. Document the audience, fields, trigger and destination, then test that workflow in the selected plan. Review traffic and order peaks as well as normal usage.

These are evaluation criteria, not a claim of a tested conversion winner. Neither a lower entry price nor a broad design label proves that a tool meets a multi-site, testing or integration requirement.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Does Poptin Basic cover five client domains?

No. Basic lists one domain, and Pro lists four. A five-domain brief needs a different configuration and quote. Compare the required domain and visitor capacity with Adoric rather than using Poptin’s $25 entry price for every agency setup.

Does Adoric Shopify bill only popup-attributed orders?

No. Its Shopify pricing page uses the previous month’s store orders. The starting $4.99 amount covers 0–100 orders. Keep the order forecast separate from Poptin visitor usage and select the applicable band.

Is Adoric Shopify’s ongoing free plan for live stores?

The checked FAQ limits the ongoing free plan to development stores and advertises a seven-day trial. Poptin separately lists a free 1,000-visitor allowance on one domain. Do not transfer Shopify terms to Adoric’s website product.

Is Poptin popup-only Basic a complete email-sending quote?

No. Emails & Poptins is a separate offering with contact and sending limits. The combined Free card lists 250 active contacts and 500 emails alongside 1,000 popup visitors. Obtain the configured combined price if replacing an email sender.
