How to Disable Monthly Plan Limit Popup on Poptin?

Emel DalabasmazUpdated August 23, 20262 min read

The "You're losing new leads & sales" notice is admin-only. Visitors never see it. Uncheck it in Settings → Profile if it blocks frontend testing. Hiding it does not keep campaigns running. The visitor cap still stops them.

How do I hide the admin notice?

Shown only to admins. Visitors do not see this message. That is Poptin's wording, not ours.
  1. Log in to Poptin.
  2. Open Settings (top right).
settings dropdown of Poptin
  1. Open Profile (app.popt.in/settings/profile).
  2. Uncheck Display a message on my website once I reached my plan's limit (for you only, your visitors won't see it ).
  3. Save.

The 2023 version of this page said visitors would keep seeing popups after you hid the notice. That is wrong. Once the account hits the plan limit, Poptins stop displaying to all visitors, returning and new.

What should I do instead of hiding it?

Upgrade, or wait for the 30-day unique-visitor window to roll. Free is 1,000 unique visitors. Basic is 10,000 for $25/mo. Pro is 50,000 for $59/mo. Agency is 150,000 for $119/mo. Source: poptin.com/pricing, 23 August 2026.

If the notice appears and Overview still shows you under the cap, chat support. Do not clear cache as a first step; this is an account flag, not a stuck banner.

Poptin limit FAQs

Will visitors see the warning?

No. Poptin says it is admin-only. What visitors notice is campaigns not firing, because the cap stops them.

Does hiding the notice restore campaigns?

No. It only removes the admin overlay so you can test other page elements.

Can I pay overage instead of upgrading?

Not on the public pricing page. The documented behaviour is a hard stop.
