Privy Help 2026
Troubleshoot Privy from evidence across the display, visitor, contact, destination and subscription. These guides cover campaign setup; the checks below add current support channels, status, ownership boundaries and a reproducible support packet.
Suggested setup checks
Build a reproducible Privy support packet
Separate display, visitor, contact, destination and billing evidence so the responsible team can reproduce the issue.
Check current operations
Review status.privy.com, then record the exact time, time zone, account, site, browser and device.
Record the object state
Capture the campaign or Flow name, publish state, trigger, audience, schedule and recent changes.
Test inclusion and exclusion
Use one visitor who should qualify and one who should not; record page, cart, consent and contact state.
Trace the destination
Inspect the Privy contact, mapped fields, external record, automation entry and delivered message with timestamps.
Send sanitized evidence
Share concise reproduction steps and safe identifiers through dashboard chat or support email, routing billing, compliance or DNS issues to the listed inbox.

Questions before you decide
Frequently asked questions
How do I contact Privy support?
Privy lists email tickets at support@privy.com and Live Chat in the dashboard. Its support FAQ says chat is available Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–6 p.m. EST, and email Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6:30 p.m. EST. Phone support is not generally offered.
Where can I check Privy platform status?
Use status.privy.com and subscribe to updates. Privy says the status page is the main source for outage effects on campaigns, emails and texts; contact support when the account impact remains unclear.
Will Privy support edit my website code?
Privy's support policy says the team can help identify installation or CSS and JavaScript conflicts but will not edit site code directly. It may refer platform-specific code issues to the website provider or developer.
Who supports a third-party Privy integration?
Privy says it supports Privy-specific functionality, while the connected provider generally supports its own platform. API and custom-code issues may fall outside Privy's scope. Record the failing boundary and contact the owner of that step.
Why might a welcome message send twice?
A Privy Flow and a connected email or SMS platform may both own follow-up. Inspect both entry rules with a fresh and existing contact. This is one cause to test, not a diagnosis of a specific account.
Does uninstalling Privy stop billing?
No. Privy's billing documentation says app removal, store closure and inactivity do not cancel subscriptions. Use Plans & Billing to cancel the intended plan and keep the confirmation.
What should I include in a Privy support ticket?
Include the account and site, browser and device, affected campaign or Flow, expected and actual result, exact time and time zone, one matching and one excluded visitor, destination trace, recent changes and sanitized screenshots or IDs. Never send passwords or full customer lists.
