Who wins on price?
Depends what you buy.
Displays-only at $24/month can beat Popupsmart Basic monthly ($39) and sits near yearly Basic ($32.50). Email at $30 is a different product: unlimited sends at 1,500 contacts. Popupsmart will not replace that. Privy gets more expensive as the list grows. Popupsmart gets more expensive as the site gets traffic.
Who should pick which?
Privy if Shopify + email + SMS in one bill is the brief and you will not keep Klaviyo. Popupsmart if the sender is already paid for and you want a free on-ramp.
Does Privy still have a $15 Starter plan?
Not for accounts opened after 8 July 2025. Pre-July accounts may still sit on Convert Only, Starter or Growth. New checkout is Displays $24, Email $30, Email + SMS $45.
