Visit Popupsmart

Connect Popupsmart to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Shopify, Zapier or Sendloop via Zapier. HubSpot only lists static lists in the dropdown.

Integration options and setup checks

Choose the connection for your workflow, then verify what reaches the destination. These are source-based findings; the checks below are our evaluation guidance, not hands-on test results.

Platform installation

The integration directory describes adding JavaScript to the website and provides platform-specific setup links.

Availability:
Requires access to an appropriate code-embedding location.
Before you rely on it:
Check installation once and avoid adding the same script through both the CMS and tag manager.

Marketing destinations

Klaviyo and SendGrid appear in the directory; the publishing workflow also names Mailchimp and HubSpot.

Availability:
Vendor-listed connections; destination-specific field support still needs checking.
Before you rely on it:
Verify the account, list and required properties with a fresh contact rather than only checking connection status.
Read vendor documentation ↗

Webhooks for other systems

The directory explicitly offers webhooks when a solution is not listed.

Availability:
Custom delivery route; implementation and destination validation are required.
Before you rely on it:
Define the payload and error-monitoring owner. A webhook is not a guarantee that any external workflow works without code.

Analytics and autoresponders

The homepage publishing steps include analytics tracking, notifications and autoresponder configuration.

Availability:
Documented setup options, subject to the selected account’s limits.
Before you rely on it:
Check event tracking separately from contact delivery, and coordinate autoresponders with any external welcome flow.

Suggested setup checks

Verify the handoff, not just the connection

A connector is useful only when the right information reaches the right workflow.

  1. Define the destination

Record the marketing account, list or audience, required fields and intended follow-up before connecting anything.

  2. Follow the relevant guide

Choose the guide for your task: installing Popupsmart on a website or transferring form data to another app. For Zapier, submit data through the published campaign before testing its trigger.

  3. Check a complete signup

Use a fresh contact and verify fields, destination membership and the downstream action. For a polling connector such as Zapier, allow for its polling interval before diagnosing delayed delivery.

Questions before you decide

Frequently asked questions

Does connecting an app prove the welcome flow works?

No. A connection is only one part of the workflow. Submit a new contact, confirm the destination list and fields, and check the expected downstream message. Our guides help locate the setup steps; they do not replace that end-to-end verification.

What should I record before changing a connector?

Record the account, destination list, required form fields and automations that depend on the signup. Preserve a reference to the old configuration until the replacement is verified. Avoid sending test contacts into a live promotion unintentionally.

What if my app is missing from this directory?

This directory lists the integration tutorials we have published, rather than every possible vendor connection. Check the official help material for your app and confirm its supported workflow before purchasing. An absent tutorial is not evidence that a connector does not exist.

Can an email address arriving in the wrong list still count as a successful integration?

For a real campaign, it should fail your acceptance check. A successful handoff must deliver the intended contact and fields to the intended destination. Check list membership and the resulting automation, not only whether a new contact exists somewhere in the marketing account.

Why is my Popupsmart Zapier trigger empty or delayed?

First submit test data through the published campaign and select that campaign in Zapier; Popupsmart’s guide requires an existing submission before testing the trigger. Zapier lists New Popup Form Data as a polling trigger, with checks every 15 minutes on its Free plan when checked September 6, 2026. Allow for your plan’s polling interval, then inspect the trigger result, mapped fields and destination action. An empty sample and a delayed live run are different problems.
