Adoric VS Mailmunch Comparison

The verdict

Mailmunch is the cheaper list-growth tool. Adoric is the Shopify recs tool that got expensive on the web. In 2026 they barely compete unless you only need a popup.

⚖️
Capsule, 23 August 2026. Pick Mailmunch if the job is grow a list and send the email. Premium is $13.99/mo billed yearly for 1,000 contacts (mailmunch.com/pricing). Pick Adoric if you are on Shopify and want recs plus popups from $4.99/mo. Do not pick Adoric's web SaaS to save money. It starts at $100/mo. This site is independent. Neither vendor paid for the ranking.

They overlap on "popup that asks for an email." After that they diverge. Mailmunch is an ESP with forms. Adoric is an on-site campaign layer that exports the lead.

Which one should you buy?

Situation Winner Why
Blog or SaaS, budget under $20/mo Mailmunch Premium yearly is $13.99. Adoric web is $100.
Need the welcome email and the broadcasts Mailmunch Adoric does not send campaigns. It hands off to HubSpot/Klaviyo/etc.
Shopify, recs and AOV Adoric $4.99/mo for 0–100 orders. Mailmunch is list growth.
Cookie, HTML, or event targeting Adoric Mailmunch's rules are exit, scroll, time, URL.
A/B tests on the cheap plan Mailmunch (or Poptin) Adoric web parks A/B on Essentials at $250.
WordPress plugin from wordpress.org Mailmunch Adoric search on wordpress.org returned zero plugins on 23 Aug 2026.
Landing pages in the same bill Mailmunch Adoric does not sell a landing-page builder.

If none of those rows is you, you probably want Popupsmart or OptinMonster, not this pair.

How much does each one cost?

Checked the same day. Sources: adoric.com/pricing, adoric.com/shopify-pricing, mailmunch.com/pricing. Mailmunch also has a Shopify-specific list; I am not mixing that into Adoric's Shopify column.

Adoric (web) Adoric (Shopify popups) Mailmunch (web, Lead Capture)

Adoric web vs Mailmunch yearly Premium is $100 vs $13.99. That is the comparison that kills Adoric for list growth. Adoric Shopify vs Mailmunch is a different fight, and Adoric can win it if recs matter.

Full grids: Adoric pricing, Mailmunch pricing.

What do they both do, and where do they stop overlapping?

Both: popup / bar / embed-style campaigns, templates, exit intent, URL rules, a form, an integration out to Mailchimp-class ESPs, some analytics.

Mailmunch only: hosted landing pages, broadcasts, drips, automations, Shopify abandoned-cart email, custom sending domain, native WordPress / Wix / Weebly apps.

Adoric only (in public 2026 copy): falling-gifts game, Shopify FBT / cart recs / free-shipping bar as first-class campaign types, cookie / HTML / JS / local-storage targeting, a web pageview meter that goes into the millions.

Our 2023 version of this page said both had heatmaps and visitor recording. I cannot find either on Adoric's 2026 pricing grid or Mailmunch's current marketing. Dropped.

It also said Adoric had Pipedrive. Adoric's 9 July 2026 integration article lists Salesforce and HubSpot, not Pipedrive. Dropped.

How do integrations compare?

Adoric form → left sidebar → Integrations. Native list as of 9 July 2026: Adoric Leads, Mailchimp, Salesforce, HubSpot (API key), AWeber, GetResponse, Constant Contact (API key + access token), Campaign Monitor, Bronto, Sendinblue, Klaviyo (they want a developer on chat), ActiveTrail, Inwise, webhooks. Shopify listing adds HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, webhooks. No Zapier on that help page.

Mailmunch: native ESP list is shorter, plus HTTP POST webhooks. No public REST API (called out on our Mailmunch page). Native installs for Shopify, Wix, WordPress, Weebly.

If your stack is HubSpot or Salesforce and the popup is a capture widget, Adoric still maps. If your stack is "I am the ESP," Mailmunch is the stack.

Which editor is less painful?

Mailmunch is a fixed wizard: design, appearance, behaviour, integrate, publish. Reviewers still complain about form width and thin design control. That is consistent with our Mailmunch page.

Adoric's editor is the reason agencies used it when it was $9: canvases per device, brand scan, lots of targeting toggles. The bill is now $100 before A/B tests. Ease of use does not pay the invoice.

Shopify reviews for Adoric (4.9/5, 245 reviews, 23 Aug 2026) praise support by name. Mailmunch's Shopify app is 4.5/5 from 147 reviews on our Mailmunch profile. Different sample, different job. I would not pick a winner on stars.

So which one is better?

Mailmunch, for the query this URL ranks on: "popup builder to grow an email list." It is cheaper, it sends the mail, and it still has a real WordPress plugin.

Adoric, for a Shopify store that asked for recs and a popup, not a newsletter tool. Start the 7-day trial, calendar the cancel.

Adoric web vs Mailmunch is not a close call in 2026. Pay $100/mo for Adoric only if you already know you need the targeting list on the overview. Otherwise Mailmunch or a cheaper popup-only tool from Adoric alternatives.
