Two public price lists exist. Do not mix them.
- mailmunch.com/pricing for the web product (WordPress, Wix, script installs).
- mailmunch.com/sh-pricing and the Shopify App Store listing for Shopify stores.
The 2023 version of this page only described Premium. That number has not moved. The Shopify SKU and the Email Marketing tab were sitting on the same URL the whole time and we did not spell them out. They are in this rewrite.

The screenshot is the 2023 capture of that page. The $19.99 / $13.99 Premium pair on it is still what the Lead Capture tab shows.
How much does Mailmunch cost on the web list?
The pricing page has two tabs: Lead Capture and Email Marketing. They are not the same grid.
Lead Capture tab
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Contacts stated | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | not published | Forms and popups, landing pages, 1 welcome email, basic analytics, Mailmunch branding on |
| Premium | $19.99/mo | $13.99/mo | 1,000 included | Unlimited forms and landing pages, unlimited campaigns, email automation, Shopify abandoned-cart emails, premium templates, advanced analytics, drip emails, custom domains, branding off |
Source: mailmunch.com/pricing, Lead Capture tab, 23 August 2026.
A Team Management add-on sits under the plans at $9.99/month: unlimited team members, multiple sites. A Whitelabel add-on is also shown at $9.99/month, but the bullet copy is identical to Team Management. We could not tell from the page what Whitelabel actually unlocks.
Email Marketing tab
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Contacts stated | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | not published | 1 autoresponder ("good for a welcome email") |
| Essential | $9.99/mo | $6.99/mo | "starts with 500 subscribers" | 10 autoresponders, broadcasts, campaign reports, "high deliverability", custom domains |
| Pro | $19.99/mo | $13.99/mo | "starts with 1,000 subscribers" | Unlimited autoresponders, premium templates, drip campaigns, drag-and-drop builder, custom fonts, file attachments |
| Agency | $6.90/mo | $6.90/mo | not published | Unlimited sites, team management, whitelabel notifications, free installation, priority support. CTA is Contact, not self-serve checkout |
Source: same URL, Email Marketing tab, 23 August 2026.
Agency at $6.90/month sitting under Pro at $19.99 is odd. The page prints that number and then sends you to a contact form. Treat it as a starting figure for a sales conversation, not a card you can click.
What happens after 1,000 contacts?
The Lead Capture tab says, in so many words, "pricing is based on number of subscribers." You type a list size and hit Calculate. Support will also quote you.
There is no public table for 2,500, 5,000, 10,000 or anything above 1,000. Third-party write-ups guess at those steps. We are not repeating guesses. If your list is already past 1,000, run the calculator on the vendor page or ask support before you budget.
Custom onboarding is "contact support." No published price for that either.
How much does the Shopify app cost?
Different SKU. Confirm in the Shopify admin before you pay.
| Source | Free | Paid figure shown | Extra meter | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify App Store | Yes. Unlimited subscribers, forms and popups, landing pages, one welcome email, basic analytics | Premium $24.99/month | $15.00 per 5,000 contacts | 23 August 2026 |
| mailmunch.com/sh-pricing | Yes. Unlimited subscribers, 5 forms/popups, 1 landing page, one welcome email, branding on | Premium painted as $9.99/mo with a 50% off label next to a struck $24.99 | 1,000 contacts included, then the same Premium feature list as the web product | 23 August 2026 |
The two Shopify sources disagree on the dollar amount you will actually be billed. The App Store is the checkout you install through. The vendor page looks like a promo. A footnote on sh-pricing also says you might land on freemium, and that a 14-day trial needs a support request.
Shopify Free is tighter than web Free on campaign count (5 forms, 1 landing page) and looser on the subscriber cap (it says unlimited).
Is there a free plan or a refund?
Yes to both, with messy copy.
Free plan. Exists on every list we opened. Web Free keeps the Mailmunch logo on and caps email at one welcome message. Shopify Free caps you at 5 forms and 1 landing page. Coupons, branding-off and abandoned-cart mail sit on paid.
Trials. The web Premium card says "Start free trial." The Shopify listing says a 14-day trial is available. sh-pricing then tells you to contact support if you want that trial. We could not verify the trial length on the main web checkout without creating an account.
Money-back. The Lead Capture tab promises 30 days. The Email Marketing tab and the Shopify pricing page promise 60 days. Same company, two numbers. If a refund matters, get the window in writing from support before you pay a year up front.
Help centre article Billing, payments, and refunds (14 December 2021, still live) does not name a number of days. It points at live chat, a contact form, a Calendly call and email.
How does Mailmunch pricing compare?
| Tool | Published starting price on this site | Meter | Free plan? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mailmunch | $13.99/mo billed yearly (Premium, 1,000 contacts) | Subscribers | Yes |
| Adoric | $9/mo (Startup, last published here) | Not stated on our profile | Yes |
| OptinMonster | $9/mo billed yearly (Basic) | Not stated on our profile | No, 14-day money-back |
| Privy | $15/mo (Starter) | Contacts | Yes |
| Poptin | No starting price on our profile | Visitors | Yes |
| Hello Bar | $24/mo billed yearly (Growth) | Pageviews | Trial only |
| Popupsmart | $32.50/mo (Basic) | Pageviews | Yes |
| OptiMonk | $39/mo (Essential) | Pageviews | Yes |
| Sumo | $39/mo (Pro) | Subscribers | Yes |
| Wisepops | Last published $49/mo; public prices withdrawn | Pageviews | Unknown |
Competitor figures are the ones already published on those pricing pages, not re-checked for this rewrite. Mailmunch's own figures were re-read on 23 August 2026.
On raw dollars, Mailmunch is still near the bottom of this directory. That is the point of the product. You are paying for popups plus a small ESP, not for OptinMonster-grade targeting. The catch is the unpublished list-size curve. A "cheap" $13.99 plan can stop being cheap once the calculator runs, and we cannot tell you where that happens because Mailmunch will not print it.
